COMEXI GROUP HEADQUARTERS

In 1999, Comexi Group decided to modernise its facilities and establish a new site for the group’s headquarters. It purchased over 100,000 square metres of land for this purpose in Riudellots de la Selva, just six kilometres from Girona. Riudellots, with its new airport now consolidated, has become one of the fastest-growing hubs of technology and business growth in Europe. Comexi Group is contributing to the area’s development with its investments. Our global outlook does not conflict with our contribution to local development. This is what Comexi is like. Some of the companies in the group have set up their plants in this new industrial complex, enabling them to make use of the most modern facilities and the best technology available in the industry.

MECHANIZATION PLANT

Designed and manufactured by us. Precision and productivity.
9,000 square metres of facilities devoted to machining using the most modern machine tools in the industry enable Comexi to push ahead with its constant creative strategy. Cincinnati, MAZAK and Forest Liner machining systems, among others, give us the largest in-house production capacity on the market. And maximum precision and the highest productivity come from being run by people who are wholly dedicated to their speciality, resulting in the most competitive prices on the market at the same time as the most innovative designs.

FUNGISA

Our own foundry enables us to design, create, supervise and check every one of the parts which are critical in building the machine bed. In our recent expansion of the facilities at the main site, FUNGISA, the group company dedicated entirely to creating cast parts for our machines, saw its facilities move to the new central site and grow from its old site in Girona to a modern, new one occupying over 7,000 square metres in
Riudellots de la Selva. New moulds, sand casting, furnaces and a full range of facilities and plant wholly dedicated to production for COMEXI.

ASSEMBLY PLANT

By checking every part, perfection is possible.
Over 100,000 square metres of assembly buildings form part of our new site at Riudellots de la Selva. With six overhead cranes and capacity to build more than 16 presses at the same time, Comexi has the largest facilities devoted entirely to producing flexographic printing presses. Every machine is assembled and tested in-house. More than 170 customers and suppliers visit us every year. Be one of our next guests.
