Now well established as a leader in the competitive market for
the design and manufacture of slitter rewinders in the flexible
packaging market, the COMPACK2 is PROSLIT’s latest development
in the brand ’s range.
COMPACK2 offers a performance equivalent to many larger machines
currently on the market. Through its compact design and attention
to detail, the machine has been developed with no compromise on
slitting and rewinding technology.
COMPACK2 offers precise and accurate slitting through advanced technical solutions that include:
- Lay-on shafts attached to a horizontal double guide track
system based on the Advanced Linear Tracking System, (ALTS),
developed on other PROSLIT slitter rewinders.
- Shaft-less unwind for reels of up to 1000kg weight which can
be loaded from pallets, pallet trucks, overhead crane or similar.
- Duplex and interchangeable slitting system of circular and
razor knives.
- Core set-ups with laser adjustment.
- Possibly the first fully electric machine in its category, allowing use in aseptic environments, in particular the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Main functional features
ALTS technology - (Advanced Linear Tracking System) provides high
quality control on the rewind, offering improved efficiency in
accuracy of the rewinds.
Friction shafts with directional ball bearing rings contribute
to quick and efficient changeovers.
Shaft-less unwind. Fully electric option also available.
Duplex cantilever system driven by two AC motors (1+1 or 1+2 as a further option).
Simultaneous slitting (razor and shear slit) with excellent access
to the slitting area.
