Unwinder body
The new, integrated unwinder has
electromagnetic braking in the standard
configuration (motor braking is an option).
Thanks to a double quadrant and double
support design, it attains maximal strength. A
simple system of interchangeable chucks
enables use of reels with 76 mm/3” and 152
mm/6” cores. A web guiding device working to
edge or printing line provides precision
alignment of the web entering the slitting area.
The first roll is an eccentric roll (cant roller),
which allows material transversal gauge
difference correction.
